Gianna Leo Falcon, LAPC
Hi, I’m Gianna Leo Falcon, a master’s-level clinician and Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. I earned my degree from NYU and have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I work from a holistic, integrative perspective and believe meaningful healing involves more than insight alone. Real change happens through psychological and physiological shifts, especially during periods of chronic stress, illness, or major life transitions.
My background is in supporting teens, young adults, individuals in recovery, and people navigating grief, chronic illness, and end-of-life concerns. I also work with individuals living with complex trauma, including developmental, medical, and psychological trauma, and the long-term impact these experiences can have on the nervous system and sense of self.
My therapeutic approach draws from narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic practices, and brain-based techniques. I view therapy as a collaborative process that helps clients slow down, listen to the body, and shift patterns that were once adaptive but are no longer supportive.
I bring a steady, grounded presence to therapy and offer optional mindfulness practices and guided meditation for those interested in nervous system regulation. Outside of my clinical work, I am a fine art photographer and have run a documentary styled wedding photography business for nearly a decade. This artistic background informs my clinical work through attention to nuance, authenticity, and finding beauty in what is real.
If you are seeking CBT, somatic therapy, narrative counseling, mindfulness-based therapy, or support related to complex trauma, recovery, grief, or life transitions, I am here to work alongside you.
