Aastha Singh, LAPC
Hi, I’m Aastha Singh, and I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University. I’m currently a PhD student at Lehigh University, studying Population Health with a focus on mental health. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, supporting people through a wide range of emotional struggles.

As your counselor, my priority is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. I understand that life can bring challenges that feel beyond our control, yet I deeply believe in each person’s capacity to grow, heal, and respond in ways that honor who they are.
My approach is grounded in humanistic and existential principles, with a trauma-informed lens, meaning I meet you where you are, value your story, and work alongside you to uncover the strengths you already carry. I take a relational and compassionate approach, while also incorporating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support your unique needs.

I honor and welcome diversity, recognizing the powerful role of culture, identity, and community in shaping each person’s journey. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, or identity exploration, I am here to walk with you offering understanding, guidance, and tools for meaningful change. Together, we’ll build insight, explore new perspectives, and create steps that feel empowering and aligned with your goals.
